Hello all and welcome to my blog, Tight Lines and Straight Shooting. I'm really glad that you are checking this out and I hope you return in the future.
In the last ten years or so I have become an avid outdoorsman, hunting and fishing whenever I have the chance. As a result of this, I have been fortunate to have great successes, more failures, and a great many incredible stories. Because these stories are many times entertaining and interesting, I decided to make some sort of record and write them down.
So, this blog is initially going to be my record of many of the encounters and successes I've had in the past. This should keep me busy for a while, but once I've exhausted my repertoire, I plan on writing about my ongoing adventures as well as other hunting and fishing musings I have that cross my mind. There may be additions of other things in the future, but you'll just have to keep checking back to see what those are (and hope I get around to them).
